If you have ever tried to wash a window with just a rag and some water, you know the problems this causes. While the dirt may come off, you’ll also be left with streaks and lines that make the mirror actually look worse than it did when it was dirty! Because of this, you need to make sure you’re using the proper kind of window cleaning supplies. So you can have gleaming, beautiful windows that sparkle and shine just as they should!

Most people know enough to use an aerosol spray or other cleaner that is made especially for windows, aluminum, and chrome when they go about cleaning their windows. These sprays however, have come a long way from what they once were. There are organic sprays for those that are worried about the environment, or using window cleaning supplies around children. For outdoor windows, there are sprays that have mixed this aerosol solution with water, and can easily attach to your outdoor hose and be sprayed onto the windows. For high inside windows, there are cloths that come presoaked with this substance and come on a long, mop-like handle to reach high places. These kinds of new cleaning supplies have made cleaning windows easier than ever!

Another tool you need in your window cleaning supply tool box is a simple, dry cloth. This will not only wipe off any of the cleaning solution you used, but it will also polish the mirror up nicely after you’ve cleaned it. This dry cloth and the cleaning solution are really the only supplies you need to clean windows. While you can certainly embellish on them, any form of using these basic essentials will ensure that you have gleaming, shiny windows – every time!
